Center Parcs - De Haan

A challenging restoration: from production to transport and installation.

Due to a leak in the roof structure, the existing glulam timber showed visible defects after several years. The water infiltration had severely damaged the structural beam. To ensure safety, Center Parcs decided to have a new beam manufactured.

This beam had to be an exact copy of its predecessor, ensuring that everything would fit together seamlessly. A challenging task requiring extreme precision.

From accurately measuring the existing beam to precisely gluing the new one in production. The impressive beam was then safely transported to the site in De Haan, before being lifted and replaced in a very confined space. A true millimetre-perfect operation!

Thank you to Center Parcs Belgium for putting your trust in Korlam!
