Safran Hangar – Brussels Airport Zaventem
Just a stone’s throw from our project at the drop-off zone at Brussels Airport, we’re back on site at Zaventem Airport.
Working on behalf of Cordeel Belgium, we are responsible for the timber load-bearing structure of this hangar for Safran.
What makes this hangar stand out? The well-considered combination of a concrete structure and solid timber elements.
Alongside our glued laminated timber trusses, the CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) walls give the building a distinctive appearance and a sustainable character. This combination not only creates a warm aesthetic but also directly contributes to a lower-carbon construction method.
We are carrying out the on-site assembly in collaboration with our sister company Spanbo (VT-Invest Construction Group).
